As a Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist, I often find that the most important aspects of a child's development happen during ordinary moments that we tend to overlook.

In this article, "Inside the Preschool Brain: What Really Happens Between Drop-Off and Pick-Up?", I explore what is happening inside a young child's brain throughout a typical school day.

From the moment children walk through the school gate, their brains are learning through routines, relationships, conversations, exploration, and everyday experiences.

These seemingly small moments play a significant role in shaping confidence, executive functioning, communication, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

My goal with this series is to bridge neuroscience, education, and parenting by translating scientific evidence into practical insights that parents, educators, and professionals can apply in everyday life.
